Angel Latorre Trabanco
I heard from a friend that Tesla 2 have a wider tire (2.5"). It's true? In that case I'm thinking in mount this new tire in my Tesla 1 (I recently mounted Nikola pedals on it too). Original Tesla tire is 16x2.125 and 57/305 and all tires that I found 16x2.5 are 64/305 and don't fit on Tesla body. do you know brand and model of the new tire or a shop to buy it? mrelwood
It seems the 2.5” rumour didn’t come true. On the sizing, 64-305 (millimeters) means 16x2.5 (inches) and vice versa, so none of them will fit your Tesla. Someone did modify his Tesla to fit a 2.5” tire, but it required lots and lots of work. KS-16S can be modified for a 2.5” quite easily, Tesla not so much, unfortunately. It would make it a killer wheel though!
