    I'm a big dude, all my braking is relatively hard. this update put me in danger. i'm out in traffic with my dependable wheel now suddenly beeping at me and trying to get me off of it. over 600 miles in, pretty sure i'm not going to fry the motherboard from overvoltage. but now i'm nervous about charging to full in the future.

    I got mine like the 13th or something. and i got in on the first 28 batch from ewheels.

    185 miles in. No issues yet. Haven't torn it down, but damn do I love this wheel. Handles everything and keeps me stable while doing so. LET'S GO PATTON.

    not for most normal people, no. most of our apps ask for it when they use location or camera.

    app is as barebones as it gets. light, strong/medium/soft mode, firmware update, monitoring. that's about it. i had to adjust max speed, pwm alarms, etc... on the patton itself.

    the stability and smoothness is what surprised me the most. i did not expect a 16" wheel to feel like that, even at speed. and I just came from the s22/hero, 20" wheels. like you, i haven't even fine tuned the sus yet, and i've put some miles on this thing. glad you're enjoying it.

    I feel you. If you catch me doing a 1 foot drop, it was by accident or necessity.

    patton is the truth. the power is there. now that i've had some time with it, i can say that the ride experience is excellent for me. the weight and width allow me to feel planted, secure. stable. haven't taken it off-road, as i'm more of a street rider. might fuck around and do exactly that this week.

    WAIT, you can't adjust that beep volume? that shit is straight up startling. alarmingly loud. i was actually taken aback. that needs to be a firmware update, pronto.

    I was meaning to ask, how are you going to set up your pads? I was thinking they were going to be the ones i see on videos, but these are the Sherm S ones.

    It did NOT. This happens constantly. It was stuck at the facility. It's out for delivery today though. Between 11-3. Today we share a bond of homecoming.

    the site went down yesterday. i emailed to ask about the expected email blast/payment link, and they just sent an invoice instead. i'm pretty sure you probably got your invoice by now too, since the site is back up.

    paid off the remaining wheel balance. got in on the first eWheels shipment. it's time.
