  1. Today my V12 forced me off of it (tiltback) and in the display mentioned that not all battery packs are enabled. Sure enough, one was disabled, I assume because at idle it had over 1V less than the other pack. I have now charged it to 100%, the warning is gone, and there's still a 0,7V difference between the two battery packs (100V and 99,3V). How do I get them both to equal voltage again? Does it do it itself, do I need to let the charger plugged in overnight? Thanks!

    INMOTION V12

Anecdotal evidence: Mine failed at ~220km; the replacement board has almost 800km now with no issues.
  3. The V13 is for evening joyrides on bikepaths or around the local aerodrome; it's far too clunky to e.g. take into a shop or visit the doctors. I much prefer the V8 for that still. Now I want to get rid of the V12, the V8 is showing signs of a dying battery; I'm not going to buy any non-suspension wheels any more and no company is at the moment making a lightweight shortrange "V10-with-suspension" type wheel, so I was considering the V14, esp. since I like inmotions build quality.
  4. Ok. so the 16" Adventure with a street tire it will be. I want something small(er) with suspension that can keep up with city road traffic. The V13 is great but a bit too heavy and big.
  5. Is it a replacement (size-wise) for the V12 ? I'm considering getting rid of the V12 and replacing it with the Adventure, unless Inmotion has something like the Adventure planned for mainly paved street riding.
  6. Set the "Ride Mode" to "Offroad", and maybe even "Pedal Hardness" to 100%. "Offroad" apparently has better acceleration, while "Commute" accelerates much softer.
  7. Since the repair (new motor, driverboard and batterypack) it has been completely trouble-free. I do get a bit worried once charge hits 66%, so I try to keep it charged up all the time. It's still my go-to wheel for places where the V13 is too big/inconvenient to store and the V8's range/speed is not enough.
  8. 220km (2 weeks) until the first crash; since then 500km on the new driver board. However I still do feel a bit uneasy riding it :(
  9. The V12? I'd like a V8/V10 type wheel with stronger axle and minimal suspension for the uneven city roads. Like yours, my commutes are short and when lugging it around light weight is very much appreciated.
  10. inmotion france = newwalkings. I've sent a broken 2 month old wheel under warranty to them, they declared everywhing was caused by user error, and parts (motor+control board according to them) + labour cost would amount to the price of a new one. I don't envy you at all.
  11. Can you please make a photo of the tire dimensions? I could not find one with the 3.00-16 dimensions that are on the stock tire. Thanks!
  12. Even I with my 105kg could not bottom out the suspension at 220psi; it felt like almost no suspension at all. And she looks like half my weight... (nice clickbait picture though).
  13. Yes, you can set a numeric passcode. But, I found you can easily bypass that if you connect to it via bluetooth: I.e. you have the passcode screen on the wheel, just connect the phone app to the wheel and tap the unlock button in the app, the wheel will start balancing. Maybe this is intended behaviour for the owner of the wheel, I don't know whether the above works with some random unknown dude and his inmotion app.
  14. at 120km (74miles) the app allowed only 89km/h, But this worked: 89->70->90
