Tire Flat,

Recommended Posts

So this morning, I was about to be on my way to work, and my tire was flat, not full deflated but, I wouldn't be able to ride it this morning. So I bought some fix a flat, but I was thinking, when I get home, should I look into a patch or just buy a new tire?

If it's a tiny hole, no need to get a tire.   If it's over a 16th inch or so, you might consider it since those tires are pretty cheap.  Pressure depends on what feel you like.  Somewhere between 35 and 50 PSI.  50 is slightly better mileage, but firm on bumps, and turns are twitchy.  If you are a seasoned rider, it won't be an issue.  If you are new, stay near the lower range for more stability.
