Looking backwards turning which side?

Sorry if this has been posted, I searched but did not find.

I am enjoying backwards figure 8s around trees and reverse weaving between parking lot lines.

I try to practise looking over both shoulders when going straight backwards but ask this question?

When doing say a reverse right turn it would seem to make sense to look over ones left shoulder to induce body twist but hard to see where you are going.

But if looking over  right you do see where you go but but twists body in the wrong way.

I also am doing backwards round about riding and also trying to see which shoulder to look over.

Thoughts, ideas?
