Note the idea of a strap is to stop the wheel from running away or spinning around and hurting you or someone/something else. It is not a balancing aid, in fact holding it tightly whilst riding will make it harder to learn. With the above in mind the strap needs to be long enough that you are holding it loosely, but not so long it gets sucked into the wheel. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Homer69uk Posted May 8, 2016 Author Share Posted May 8, 2016 It's ok I don't intend to learn with it,I've had a ninebot and it had holes pre drilled for lights etc and I used to use it in case of a mistake it wouldn't end up running into the road and causing an accident or plow into someone else.bit worried about wrapping it round the handle as I'm assuming that the forward energy of 16-17kg @15-20mph coming to a sudden stop and being pulled against the handle may not have been checked in qc?
