Nostris Posted July 20 Share Posted July 20 So, it’s finally happened to me!.. what is the best fix for the V12 valve stem issue. It seems the hole the valve passes through chafes against the tube and it eventually cuts the tube. I was thinking if grinding the valve hole a bit smoother on the inner rim…and then maybe putting an O ring around the valve stem before passing it through the rim. Any other suggestions? Hellkitten Posted July 20 Share Posted July 20 Yeah check and see if your valve hole has any sharp spots and remove them. Check your tire pressure regularly. Some people have ridden at lower pressure and the torque from the motor can rip the valve stem when the tire shifts. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
