So, it’s finally happened to me!.. what is the best fix for the V12 valve stem issue. It seems the hole the valve passes through chafes against the tube and it eventually cuts the tube. I was thinking if grinding the valve hole a bit smoother on the inner rim…and then maybe putting an O ring around the valve stem  before passing it through the rim. Any other suggestions?

Yeah check and see if your valve hole has any sharp spots and remove them. Check your tire pressure regularly. Some people have ridden at lower pressure and the torque from the motor can rip the valve stem when the tire shifts.
