The beast
I’ve got a first batch INMOTION v14 which keeps showing exclamation error saying wheel in abnormal condition , not shutting down properly. May need to replace battery. Didn’t think a lot about it till I realized it looses bout 10 percent battery a day. Is anybody else having this problem? It’s a first batch v14

If so, are you shutting down the wheel before closing the app? Just a wild guess the v13 has an issue with throwing that error code when this happens but it doesn't loose 10% battery a day, that seems off. The beast
I use the INMOTION app but not very often. I don’t usually have app open when turning off. I’ll see if that does something though, Thankyou.
The beast
I just connected to app and turned off wheel, it didn’t through the error code though. I’ve been talking to eWheels bout it for weeks. They say they are working with INMOTION bout it, saying make sure the firmware is up to date which it is. Didn’t care much until I realized how much battery is drained just sitting their

It’s a first batch v14 Ive had mine for less than a month. Today I noticed the little error symbol amd ran a diagnostic. It says that it was shut off inproperly and the battery may need replacing. Its brand new and has never been below 80% charged. All the batterys look fine. Im hoping its a software issue that needs to be updated. My other guess is that while riding the connection between the battery and the control board may have come slightly loose.
Henning
Hi everyone, I have a brand new V14 and just got the same message. just rode it a few times, never really below 70% and then always back on the charger. Now I have that error code and don’t feel like I should ride it until that gets resolved. Any information is appreciated.

Make sure you shut the app. down before turning the wheel off. Both my v13 and 14 do this if i shut them down before turning the app. off. Try powering it up and connecting the app. then shutting the app down and then the wheel and see if it goes away.
eried
Mine turns off after a while even if I am connected on the inmotion app. I noticed a hint under the top warning stickers there are lights and the case is a bit translucent. When the lights are on, I can connect via BLE

I think this may be it. It goes away and comes back if I don't do it on this order lol. Stupid, but oh well.
