I just got a new motor/rim for my veteran Sherman. I had to replace my old one because the axel had snapped on the old motor.. well I everything went good installing the new motor and shims riding it for the first time in about a year was cool . I am use to my msx but . Anyways, so I am riding along 35 or so mph on a road I frequent and I hit a bump. One that I am very use to it’s on a freeway overpass. Maybe an inch high difference in pavement. After the bump there was a noise like a merging rubbing every rotation. So I stop take a look at it and boom rim is bent on one side ..? And it’s right ware the rim has a support arm …

I remember when they switched to the fat win and propels were saying they were lower quality did they never address this issue are there rims still soft and crappy? Or did I just get a bum rim ?

Rims won't survive if something hits it dead on, what PSI did you have and what is your riding weight?
