Popular Post Juha
I pre ordered s22 Pro from myeWheel at may. At 4th of june I got a email from myeWheel explaning Kingsong to make additional fixing in s22 Pro: "KingSong has decided to fix two very important issues with the S22 Pro. This put us in a bit of an awkward situation, which required our quick reaction and the return of the goods that were already loaded in a container for shipment. We were able to return the entire order so that your wheels can also benefit from these updates, which we believe are very important! You can read more about what will be updated in the attached PDF document. The information we have from the factory is that we can move the shipment order to June 25th. This means that the wheels will be with us at the beginning of August. We understand that this additional delay is very unpleasant, but we believe that it is of utmost importance to deliver to you the latest version that has significant motor and slider system improvements for the wheel. We will continue to keep you updated. If you have any more questions, feel free to let us know." --- The following is a copy from Kingsong PDF --- Motors: Due to the abnormal noise of the motor, we made the bearing wider. After extensive in-house testing, no unusual noise issues were found, so we went into mass production. However, we still received a small amount of unusual noise feedback after shipment. For the problem of abnormal noise, we have now formulated a rectification plan: 1. Changing the motor shaft from die-cast aluminum to steel, can solve the problem of long-term use of the bearing steel inner ring and the motor aluminum shaft contact wear; 2. The design of pre-compressed steel sleeve is added to the outer ring of the motor end cover bearing, which can better control the error between the outer ring of the bearing and the side cover, so that the outer ring of the bearing and the end cover are closely matched. The proofreading work has been completed, and the samples are being tested, and the testing and switching are expected to be completed in mid-June. Sliders 1. Four guide pulleys with a diameter of 11mm are added to the side, which can keep the slide rail parallel to the battery box during the up and down displacement process, reduce friction and increase smoothness 2. All the pulleys are changed to the outside of the slide rail, and the original single slide rail is changed as a mechanism into a battery box as a whole, which can reduce the problem of non-parallel and unsmoothness of the 2 measurement slide rails caused by processing errors; 3. The screw-fixed pulley is replaced by a spring to fix the pulley, which is convenient for after-sales disassembly and assembly of the pulley; 4. The pulley rubber material is changed to white nylon material to increase the reliability of the pulley 1 1
NErider
This will be interesting to see what the roller assembly will look like. Also I was thinking of getting an updated motor for my batch 1 wheel, but I should wait a few more months for this version.
