OldFartRides
Been squirreling steel away for thirty years. Always thought it was a good investment. Well, the time has come to cash out while I’m still capable of wrestling with this stuff. Edited March 30, 2023 by OldFartRides
OldFartRides
So here’s the load, or half a load. Only a ton. Needed to free up the trailer for another job, plus I don’t like towing a lot of weight Load paid just shy of $200…then I spent $650 on a 1885 Toyo pickup (2wd) with only 80k mi. on her. Got the back story, too. Came out of Tennessee in ‘06 Never driven in the salt. Was like Christmas in April. Near as we can tell, previous owner went to jump her in the spring, got the cables crossed and blew the E ignition and the 80 amp fuse. Let her sit for a year, then called the scrap yard to come get her. It was destiny. Waiting on a OEM coil to come in the mail.
