Tape up the places to keep from over sprays. Keep the parts looking new and prevents rust. Does anyone else do this? Mayhem
In nyc we use white lithium grease as our streets get dumped with salt during the winter. Edited October 3, 2022 by Mayhem

Cerbera
I don't do this, but having dropped my Master from stationary one time because I couldn't yet manage the weight of it with a suitably tripod-like stance, I have silver scuffs on the undersides of my otherwise pristine black pedal, which everyone can see, and irritate me whenever my pedals are up and I'm trolleying. I had not considered a respray for protection, but might now as well as one for colour. And it would give me a chance to do some cool shit with masking and different colours to further match the armour... I'm thinking Onyx Hammerite with white hammerite chevrons... Clark pedals can't rust because they are made from billet aluminum alloy, and the pedal rod is titanium. However, unprotected aluminum alloy can corrode, especially in the presence of salt.
