InfiniteWheelie
I just purchased my first ewheel, a Veteran Sherman. Before I start using it, I want to make sure they sent me the latest version. The latest version is v3 correct, and what's the best way to confirm that's what I have? Whitebeard
I might be out of touch, but I only got my Sherman V2 in July (higher pedal, wider black rim, black LCD panel buttons) What is the V3 Sherman that you’ve heard about?
InfiniteWheelie
I was going off this thread.
Whitebeard
By this definition, I am sure we all who took delivery after July have the V3: V1: Original Sherman V2: Sherman with updated Firmware and better insulation and size of motor wires (after Marty Backe tested on Overheat Hill) V2.5: Updated motor rim and increased peddle height (but rim scraped the peddle hangers) V3: Waterproofed display, increased peddle height, and redesigned peddle hangers to prevent scraping. But then, most experienced riders I ride with call my wheel V2 due to significant visual difference. Planemo
There was also the small batch that came out with the waterproof display but with red buttons. Not sure which version you would put that under though.
InfiniteWheelie
Mine has the black buttons. So I guess that means it also has the wider rim, higher pedals, new hangers, and waterproof display?
