As far as I know, the production is halted at the moment due to battery shortage, affecting 18650 cells especially. Some wheels are still on boats / trains and a few dealers still have small stock they're selling at a premium. Then Chooch recommends any viewer to order or pre-order right now no matter the reason, because it's always part of his videos But then would Leaperkim switch to 21700 cells for a future batch? It might be wise to. It doesn't mean that the wheel would become better tho - possibly a bit higher capacity but less cell groups in parallel.
