I couldn't order the bms for Gotway MCM5

will it be ok if I use the other smart bms?

No.
You cannot use the same parallel connection with 3rd-party BMS.

The only way to safely integrate 3rd-party BMS with Gotway BMS is if the new one is only connected at its output (no charging input!) and has output interruption.

Hi tvu213, I read on another topic you completed the additional battery pack. Some picture to share?
What BMS, cells, you finally use?

Also, do you really feel it as you ride (breaking, acceleration, also weight) or it's mostly about range?

Hi, Sorry for being late in responding.

I do feel that the battery work well and lengthen the range. I am not professional on ECU so I don't care much about breaking and acceleration. But it is obviously heavier when you add another battery pack on it.

One more thing: I had to modify the shell because it is very tight and I cannot put the shell back as it was.

I have some pictures here and hope they help:
