KS16x speaker upgrade

Have anyone tried to open the 16x speakers case and swap the speaker for some louder ones?

 

I don't understand anything about this, so i also want to know if it can run a stronger speaker, lets say, double the power (10w instead of 5w)

If you want more audio power, you'll have to change the audio power amplifier, not the speakers. But changing the speakers to a more efficient units could get you more volume from the same amount of input power. The speakers should be easy to change if you can find some that fit (easy being a relative term), but I wouldn't hold my breath on getting a noticeable volume boost. Changing the power amp is something I haven't looked into so can't help there. You might find that carrying an external BT speaker is a better option, a plastic shell does not make a very good speaker 'cabinet'.

I wont fiddle with my board, so, just leave the sound as it is!
