Popular Post Grey beard
I recently go a wheel with suspension. It was my last hope for riding because the shock load when hitting bumps was really doing a number on my lower back. I have had issues with my back for yrs. On my old wheel I was lucky if I could ride it for 20mins and still stand up straight. Now I can ride for 1hr and still be ok. I'm just really happy that suspension came along otherwise I would not of been riding much longer. If you have any problems with something like my back then definitely try a suspension wheel. Anyone else had a similar experience?
Rawnei
Are you bending your knees while riding?

Well reason I was asking is I also have lower back problems but I don't feel anything unless I ride with locked knees, with locked knees even a small bump can hurt. Sorry to hear you got even worse lower back problems than me.

The arch of your foot is. I think without your foot arch and hip twist a normal foot step would shoot 2000psi into your spine and its just bone with water jelly donuts in-between. It's actually amazing that the spine made it this far in evolution. Meh well I found it interesting when I looked into it all. 4 minutes ago, Rawnei said: Well reason I was asking is I also have lower back problems but I don't feel anything unless I ride with locked knees, with locked knees even a small bump can hurt.
