Asphalt
This article is about an emerging gyroscope IMU (Inertial Measurement Unit) technology that’s 10,000 times more accurate than current comparable IMUs.https://www.hackster.io/news/tiny-glass-gyroscope-will-boost-inertial-measurement-accuracy-by-10-000-times-researchers-say-0b3095411fa7 Do you think that improvements to IMUs will benefit EUCs? Perhaps it will enable a more precise feeling of control? Or perhaps it can be used to develop a more accurate method of crash detection, better than the rather blunt 45-degree sideways tilt cut-off that’s currently the norm? Maybe it’s fast and accurate enough to enable active suspension that senses bumps and immediately adjusts a suspension system to accommodate? Any other ideas?
