Carhopper
Good morning, I just purchased a used ninebot elite ptr e+ 620wh on Craigslist and while it works perfectly, one of the 5 red LEDs in the base appears to be burned out. I leveled the unit and did a sensor calibration. When I power the unit on, that one never illuminates either. Not that it's important, but I would like it to work 100%. Is this something an experienced DIYer could handle and where would I get the parts?

Well, LEDS don't usually burn out, so you first have to open it up and diagnose the problem, because the life of a typical LED is so long we can say it's mostly a lifetime in an application like this. It could have got damaged, but more than likely a wire got broken, or the driver failed. Once you know the problem you can get the right part, and possibly from many sources. ps. this belongs in the segway (or equivalent) forum: https://forum.electricunicycle.org/forum/56-segway-or-equivalent/ Edited February 18, 2020 by FreeRide
