micro Posted November 2, 2015 Share Posted November 2, 2015 I do not like external chargers, so I am looking for a small charger, on a pcb or in a removable enclosure. It should fit a small empty space in typical EUCs. Charge current between 0.5 and 1.5A, voltage 65 .. 67V, adjustable, if possible. Any ideas? Gimlet Posted November 2, 2015 Share Posted November 2, 2015 I believe it may be difficult to reduce the size and weight of the charger whilst still keeping up the 1.5amp+ charge rate. There is very little spare space inside the majority of wheels with the larger batteries, some even struggle to find space for the control board. micro Posted November 2, 2015 Author Share Posted November 2, 2015 The power density of very small commercially available power supplies is as high as 0.5W/cm3. I am asking here for 30W only. The space is not the problem, but the output voltage. I don not want to built it myself just to see that I can get it anywhere from China for 10USD.
