LightWave
Tried to change the bearing grease to marine grease by Moly and it doesn't sound very good, what do you think? Tried putting a lot vs a little and it didn't make much of a difference. I read online not much is really needed and too much can cause more issues but I think over all I'm just going to stick with regular bearing grease because it's just too much trouble, It sounds like there's a lot more friction and the bearings are probably going to over heat and lock up because Moly is too thick and sticky for the job. If you have a better idea let me know! Thank you! Edited April 1 by RoboFixIt
Dan Cobar
Any grease is better than no grease. And remember, the bearings in a wheel are being run at much lower speeds than the bearings were designed for. Good quality bearings aren't that expensive, and if you get the ones with rubber seals, they should come with an appropriate grease in them.
