CDINPHX
Have you tried taping the inside of the wheel in the ctr over the valve opening in the rim. We have had to do that before with other valves to get them to seal properly. Also avoid slime, it’s junk never had it seal anything. Have had great luck with Stan’s tire sealant.
CDINPHX
Also rewatched your video, the hole you drilled is quite large compared to the stem on that valve. It should barely fit, looks like your calipers were not touching the stem, when you watch the video.
CDINPHX
How’s your tubeless conversion working with the sealant now installed?

Sorry for late reply, for some reason i don't receive email notifications yes i tapped the hole off video to smooth out the surface, i added slime since because i was losing 1 psi per day, now it does not seems to lose anymore Edited May 8, 2023 by Mathieu Tech Moto
CDINPHX
Excellent! My wheel arrives tomorrow. Strongly debating doing this. Might wait until I get use to the wheel and decide if I’m keeping the Kenda or switching to Shinko!

smash
Do you need to use a "tubeless" spec tire for this? I also wonder what the risks of this deflating a little and losing the bead during a high speed turn are.
