I'm planning on replacing batteries but I'm worried it will happen again because something was slowly killing them. So do I need to replace something else as well, like circuit board or charger as well? Or is this something that happens to s18 after certain distance with batteries, since I have less than 2000 miles on it, and it seems too soon? duanew Posted May 23, 2022 Share Posted May 23, 2022 The s18 could be real dangerous at this point. I would put it where you can minimize fire damage. Could you tell us the specifics of your charging routine to see if there is an issue there? Could you check the voltage output of your charger with no load?
