rcgldr Posted January 5, 2022 Share Posted January 5, 2022 I'm considering getting an Alpinestars Bionic Pro V2 jacket. Currently I ride a V8F, mostly at 12 to 15 mph, occasionally up to 18 mph. I weigh almost 190 lbs, so don't want to push it to max speed of 21.6 mph (25 kph). Currently, I have Bell Super 3R MIPS helmet, 187 wrist guards, Leatt dual axis knee guards, 187 elbow guards (I may get something more comfortable than these), and I wear a light leather jacket that would provide abrasion but not impact protection. However, a lot of riders at or below 20 mph just wear helmet, wrist guards, knee guards, and sometime elbow guards. If it's cold, I wear a Heat full zip (including collar) jacket under my leather jacket. The Bionic Pro V2 would not be as warm. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
