I'm writing this today because I need the help of this forum. For years myself and others in my state in Australia have been trying to get Personal electric vehicles legalised. Currently the fines for riding them can be $2000 or more or even a loss of licence (they are considered unregistered uninsured vehicles). We have finally gained some attention from our state government and they are seriously considering legalising them. An online petition has been started by some of the electric skateboarders which one of the parliament members will be bringing forward. If you could spare just a couple of minutes to sign this petition it could greatly help us all out here in South Australia Thankyou for anything you could do to help out.
