    THE VIDEO THREAD!

The wheel did not get seriously in contact with salt water. I only had to brush away the sand from the tire and pedals before putting it in the trunk again.

    THE VIDEO THREAD!

Hi, Together with my son I made this video last summer on a beach in Italy. It was fun dodging the waves! Unfortunately it was high tide, otherwise the drivable flat sand region would have been much wider.
  3. Salve, During my vacation in Sperlonga, 120km south of Rome, together with my son I made a test how much fun it is to ride at the shore line with the ewheel. I made a nice vid from it: Greetz!
  4. I spent last week in Roma and unfortunately saw no-one using an EUC, but inner city ways are too crowded anyway. The best place I can recommend for wheeling is the Borghese park! People are cruising there with segways and other uncommon vehicles a lot, so you are not an alien with the EUC there!
  5. Thanks for your encouraging comments! So I'll probably put it in the trunk.
  6. The simpler eWheels with "generic" electronics can be easiely re-leveled. You have to apply a jumper-contact across some connector and reboot the wheel while it is held leveled and the wheel can spin freely (!). I have done that with mine. There are youtube clips about that.
  7. Hello Folks in Italy, Excuse me for writing in english. How is the legal situation in Italy? I will be in the Rome region for hollidays later this summer. I am thinking if I should take my EUC with me. Do I have to expect unpleasant encounters with the police? I have a traffic-insurance tha is at least valid in Germany.
