  1. Just got my V11 today, a day ahead of schedule. I'm looking forward to beginning the learning process this weekend.
  2. Just got emails from ewheels and FedEx. My V11 is expected to arrive on April 1st. I'm looking forward to beginning the learning process.
  3. After lurking here and in the electric unicycle subreddit for the past 6 months, I finally got around to ordering a V11 from ewheels yesterday. It sounds as if it should take around a month to get here. I can't wait. In the meantime, can anyone recommend some stores in the Omaha area where I could get some good protective gear (knee/elbow pads, wrist guards, etc.)?
  4. From what I've been reading, getting a V11 as a first wheel could lead to "bad riding habits." Can anyone elaborate on this? Also, the V11 does seem rather fragile. I saw the video where someone in NYC wiped out on one and pretty much destroyed it. I guess I'm a little torn. I get the idea about buying a cheaper wheel to learn on (maybe a V8F would work for me) but I don't like the idea of spending nearly $1000 on a learner wheel only to outgrow it in 2-3 months and then dropping another 2 grand on the one I really want. Would you consider learning to ride an EUC on an Inmotion V11 to be akin to learning to ride a motorcycle on a Harley-Davidson Electra Glide?
  5. I've been doing a lot of reading up on EUCs and I'm planning on getting an Inmotion V11 next spring (or maybe on Cyber Monday if there's a good deal on one). Do you think that would be a good unicycle to start out on? Also, I've been reading that the Omaha City Council has been trying to ban e-bikes and similar vehicles from the city bike paths. Have you encountered any issues with this?
  6. Hello, I live in Omaha. I just learned about EUCs last week and I'm now planning on getting one next spring (possibly sooner). I was wondering if you could answer a few questions for me if you can find the time.
