Popular Post Matt Holmes
After months of research over the SoloWheel / Inmotion V series across many forums, I stumbled across the new and improved offering of the V8F over Black Friday shopping 2019. After some initial conversations with the staff at EUCO.US / Inmotion, I'd felt confident in my purchase and ended up biting the bullet. I'd been gun shy for some time, simply due to the overall spend on the EUC, which was for me a new hobby. Each inquiry I'd made into EUCO, I'd been replied too within roughly an hour, sometimes even sooner! There was a shipping delay of about 2 months post my order, but that's okay, as I knew I'd ordered while on pre-order, and this was a brand new model coming from the manufacture. Some delays were clearly anticipated, and the website spoke to the same when I'd secured my buy. Also, updates were appropriately communicated with me along the way, so I'd always been in the know as to the progress of my order. Upon receiving my newly boxed V8F, I was pleasantly surprised with the fashion of which the item was boxed, labeled, and the good care in packaging overall. The unit arrived with residual battery life on arrival, and the unit quickly charged to full in short order. The un-boxing was seamless, and the item arrived in great shape. Myself as an avid skier and snowboarder, I'd hoped to have a somewhat easier learning process, simply because of the balancing issues I've become used to in my years skiing/snowboarding. The EUC is an amazing device, but surely involves a learning curve to some degree. While I'd initially tested the item and my initial balance while in my home on carpet, it became very apparent that the learning process is far easier when learning on hard surfaces outside. On the weekend of March 7th, I'd taken the EUC to a grocery parking garage with smooth surface, and used a smaller shopping cart to assist as my "training wheels" if you will. Let me tell you, the shopping cart support was amazing, and truly made the initial learning process way easier for me to get used to. I'll say, I'd built up a pretty good sweat, both trying the unit inside the home and in the parking garage after only about 30 minutes of using. It's evident its going to take a bit of time for new muscle memory to get used to things. Either way, after only a couple attempts, I'm eager to continue mastering the skills so that I can use this each weekends as my new hobby. The team at EUC-InMotion has been really great, and I'm very happy having made this purchase. Great work team, and if others have additional thoughts/tricks for learning, to help make others as well more comfortable in this new space, bring them on! Happy customer indeed. manu
Glad to know you got your V8F. I'm still waiting for mine, and if they are starting to ship now, I hope those of us who ordered a unit won't have to wait too long now.
