houseofjob
Very nice! Are you using Gotway battery BMS, or custom BMS? If custom BMS, how high is the max amps by the BMS?

This will allow you to chargeing more than 20A

Rudy Sijnke
Is there room in the Monster to add even more batt.?
houseofjob
10 minutes ago, Rudy Sijnke said: Is there room in the Monster to add even more batt.? Why not? There's dead unused space on the half area where the board sits, plus, if I'm not mistaken, the Monster 2400Wh is not using the most high capacity cells, I calculate at best ~2.7Ah cells. If you use all 3.5Ah cells, then fit an extra parallel pack below the board, you could potentially get 3,367Wh.
Rudy Sijnke
So if I would add an extra batt. which type and how many cells max?

All Monsters use 3500mAh cells. It's either two or three 800Wh packs (3*20 3.5Ah cells = 777Wh = "800'"Wh) for 1600Wh or 2400Wh capacity. The Monster 1600 only has one pack on each side. It is expandable under the controller. 20s1p (3.5Ah / 252Wh) However, this is very inefficient. 45 minutes ago, meepmeepmayer said: All Monsters use 3500mAh cells. Ah, my math was wrong then, thanks for the correction!
