MarkoMarjamaa
This was something that just had to be done and tested. Putting a "surfboard" on top of Airwheel. I also tried to make a video but my camera only recorded for first 5 secs....So the idea is to ride it like surfboard ( actually kitesurfboard twintip) or snowboard. Your feet will be in the front and back of the wheel. When I started kitesurfing, the first boards I made were bent plywood. They were rubbish but cheap. The top is 6mm plywood bent in sauna and some 9mm plywood at the bottom.I could almost ride it! Scary as hell! I did not have any helmet with me so I decided just to ride forward and backward while holding the fence. Some times I didn't have to hold fence at all to make corrections. It would be a lot easier to ride with a two-wheeler. One-wheeler was really unstable( of course) and I could not yet ride it fast enough so it would became more stable. One problem, that I already knew while building, is that it cannot fall forward or backwards. It means if I fall or jump off and it is tilted, it will keep going. Once it falls left or right, it will stop. It would be nice to have a some kind of dead-mans-switch.Scary but almost fun! esaj
I doubt I'd have the courage to try that one... Good luck with the mod, don't hurt yourself (or anyone else). Edit: Maybe making it a bit off-balanced (more weight on one side) would make it fall sideways, if you get off, but don't know how much harder it makes to ride it... Paddylaz
lol awesome! Although......you may be about to receive a stern letter from Onewheel's lawyers ☺️
dpong
You could use it to dig trenches.
Mono
You're not alone, I am pretty sure I already have seen a vid on Youtube of someone riding such kind of construction, unfortunately I can't re-find the vid now.
dmethvin
@Niko You're probably thinking of the Onewheel that @paddylaz mentioned: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XNqOU4jx62II'm not sure whether to be amazed at what @MarkoMarjamaa has built or send flowers to his local hospital. MarkoMarjamaa
IMHO the problem with Onewheel is that it's tire is flat so you cannot do deep carving turns.Of course this is not an answer to that. This was just a idea that had to be done. Yes, I could do those deep carving turns, if I could ride that thing
Paddylaz
Also the range on the Onewheel isnt very good at all. I think it's better suited for skateparks, recreation only. Doesn't seem feasible both in performance or practicality for anything else

That would have been easy to re-find.
