t0me
No worries, and yes the V8 only takes about 15mins to change a tyre/tube.

Popular Post t0me
Just fyi for anyone who doesn't get what was meant by using a spacer on the valve to allow the use of a non-bent valve tube. I found a picture of the last time I took the tube out (again, 0 wear, 0 tearing, perfectly usable on a V8 at least). The spacer was cut from a previous tyre. Goes over the valve stem, and against the tube (shown away from the tube for the photo).

one_way_pendulum
Hi - looking to replace my V8 tube. Replacing a Kendra 16 x 1.95 with a Bell 16 1.75 - 2.25 tube, and the Bell tube seems to be too big. Attempting to attach a photo, but if doesn't work, here's the link: https://ibb.co/2vDWpJw Why would there be such variance between tube sizes? Should I just trust that it will sort itself out? I bought this particular tube from Walmart based on a recommendation from this post. Also, using a straight valve with a spacer as per other's suggestions, but having a hell of time trying to inflate, as the valve doesn't have enough clearance from the wheel in order to fit the pump nozzle on top. Any suggestions on how to deal with this?

Any suggestions on how to deal with this? Never mind - I think it seems to have fitted just fine. And I was able to pry the valve away from the wheel, despite much protest. I would have deleted my post but that doesn't seem to be an option. All good here.

Because euc manufacturers tend to name wheel diameter from outer tire circumference, where it should be named from rim size. 16 inch v8 is really a 12 inch wheel. There are two standards, bicycle and motorcycle. EUCs simply follow the bicycle standards. Naturally, since MC tires are not available in all EUC sizes.
