Now that I think about it, i doubt if those ebayers are selling licensed products.
Popular Post novazeus
yeah the branding doesn’t bother me coming from the world of golf where people paid more money to have a company branded bag. it’s more the function that i love. look how the reflective piping shows up at night. 5

I have the cover on my V8, it does make it more visible at night, for traffic at least; the edging is reflective. I’m surprised they didn’t change the design pattern a bit for the V10F, though.

They're repurposing everything they can from the prior owners with as little new investment as possible. It's the kind of investment opportunity I typically would like.
em1barns
What I like the most about this cover is that it does add some comfort compared to the wheel’s hard plastic, while giving it some serious protection.
WARPed1701D
I really like this cover on my V8 but I have to agree that less is more with the graphics. The large logo and "Happy Journey" stuff doesn't work for me. The Solowheel version was an improvement. I'm guessing they aren't interchangeable given the larger size of the V10.

Lol buy me a V10F pedal to prototype on Or an entire V10F will work as well

A bespoke item made in small quantities - not so much. I do it too, but people don't tend to value other peoples time. I'm pretty sure Duf is selling these way below his cost unless he values his time at 50-cents an hour.

I have these bumpers also for my 9bot also, they are rubbery. I don't think 3D printers print rubbery, it's more like hard plastic. I feel for the S2/S1/E/C wheels, these bumpers are almost a necessity otherwise my inner shins feel raw from hitting hard plastic once in a while. Before i knew these bumpers existed, I had to wear shin guards tilted inwards!

that0n3guy
I just ordered some of this 3m clear vinyl (this is what I ordered). I figured I needed about 96" to do the body and maybe peddles. Cost $41, should protect about as good as the cover thing shown above, and I can still see my lights. I post pictures after I get it installed (I don't have my wheel yet, probably another week or 2 I think).

Its a little frustrating getting all the air out and having it conform to the shape. I didn't bother putting it on the pedals. With all this work it might be just as easy and cost effective to replace the shells one they are scratched.
