We certainly are, it's just that Kingsong wetted our appetites about the 18L a long time ago last year. Inmotion in comparison only notified us of the V10 series just a few months ago. Still you are right, reliability is more important.?

Do you have any evidence the delay is due to further testing and safety? Maybe you have a short attention span and need immediate gratification, i just expect the company to deliver a wheel.

There is a difference between taking your time, and missing the boat.

Interesting. I had a totally different experience. I heard about the Z-line about ten months ago. I the heard about the V10/F line in the fall. The sleepers for me were the KS18L and the most recent of all, the Gotway Super X.

According to a Facebook posting by KingSong, the delays in the 18L production are due to supplier issues - nothing to do with trying to achieve higher quality standards.

They are coming out with a line of e-scooters that will probably be way more lucrative than their wheel market. Maybe their efforts have been spread to thin. I am not sure what boat they will miss,  as they are not likely to lose many sales to their larger market due to impatience of buyers. In the end KS people will probably wait, especially since the V10/F are not getting many units to market yet. People who want the maximum in performance will wait for the Super X.

Well that's tough for KS, supplier issues I mean, that's rough if it's out of their control. I have high hopes for the 18L, when it does arrive.

Ask @Jason McNeil, the summer months (now) is a large part of wheel sales, the same problem for the Z10, these are expensive machines, people will buy one and not be looking again for a year or so (for the most part, we don't all have @Marty Backe money!:efee8319ab:

Me too! I sold my KS18 in February to make way for this wheel. Will also offload the inmotion V8 to make way also.

100V Monster is the Maximum. Not everyone will get to experience it as it is too expensive as well as exclusive.

It's okay Kael, I get what you mean. I believe the pedals are the same as on the 16s and 18s. I wonder what colour I will end up getting. I am leaning towards white, will see.

I talk from pure speculation.  I thought you all knew that by now.  And yes I do have a short attention span and enjoy instant gratification.  :w00t2:   There's plenty of proof regarding that.  Whatcha gettin' at?

As to whatever is contributing to the total amount of time required to get this wheel to market only King Song knows for sure, but I would hope that a good part of it has to do with testing and quality assurance.  My hopes and reality often do not coincide which I accept and which others are free to accept or dispute.  King Song doesn't appear too concerned about the release time, and lamenting about it on a forum probably isn't going to make them speed things up.  What boat are they missing?  There's a boat?  Gotway released the Telsa right before winter time.  Mine sat for months until I could ride it.  I still bought it, and it's still a blast to ride.

I personally myself don't perceive a huge urgency for this wheel to come out.  There will always be a market for it just like seeing what the next V6 car released from manufacturer X will be like.  People have other wheels to ride in the meantime.  As long as it's reliable and well built, I'm sure people will buy it no matter how many other 18 inch wheels are released.  Then again, what do I know?  I'm a nobody.  .  Why are you even reading what I'm writing?  It's pure speculation from a someone you don't even know!  :whistling:. I could be that crazy guy on the street corner preaching the holy gospel.  :eff02518bb:

Only because you're not buying any wheels (unless you're doing another stealth buy like you did with the Tesla)  Those of us who are eagerly waiting the release of new wheels because we're going to buy them, care.

So KingSong (if you're listening), stop already with the endless up-and-down ramp testing videos and start shipping some wheels :efeff54d4a:

i wondering has anybody commented on how the 18l compares with the 18s as far as rideability goes?

what’s the advantage or disadvantage over the 18s?

just  guessing i would think since they have the same wheel and tire, handling sb very similar. i love my 18s for comfort but it isn’t exactly nimble, it takes more effort to turn tight, at least for me it does.

18L smaller body, round shape, less weight, smaller battery......probably falls between your V10 and you 18S in terms of maneuverability...........downside compared to 18S is less range due to smaller battery. One other difference is the 2000 W motor on 18L compared to 1500 on the 18S. @Jason McNeil might be able to comment as he has ridden both. looks like height wise probably hit your leg in similar place as the tallish V10, but of course 18L is much thickerer?

that’s what i was guessing. u have both v10f and 18s. the v10f is definitely more nimble but than the 18s but u can definitely tell they are both running the wider tire.

What possible use could you have for another wheel?  What is the total mileage on all of your wheels?

Don't get me wrong, it's your money, but as someone who used to work in casino, I can't help but wonder about the psychology.  Consumerist pathology is my best guess.

You should have stopped with the question mark, and waited humbly for an answer, rather than arrogantly offer your own reckless, condescending guess
