I can hardly believe that this is the 1020wh Version....including Transport etc!

So as Hunka said, make damn sure that this is the highest Version or you end up with a 425wh Version (which normally is sold for 1000Bucks)

I can not say much to buying from ebay....here in the Forum mostly aliexpress is used when ordering from China!

There's no reason NOT to get a Tesla as a first wheel.  Just because it can go scared fast and climb mountains doesn't mean you have to while training.

Is the wheel a good size for training: yes

is the motor strong enough : YES !!

is the battery power good enough: yes

is it from a mainstream manufacturer: yes

can you set lower training speeds: yes

does it have a trolley handle: yes

does it have cool flashing lights to dazzle and impress on lookers: yes

will you trash it while trying to learn: yes. Or maybe.  Pad that sucker up, and use a loose training leash to keep it off the ground as much as possible.  You will throw your first wheel down the road, a lot.  I know I did.  I wish I had ordered some padding and protected it. AND that was WITH a leash.

the dark side is beckoning you, feel the force, 1900Watts, to be exact

i also have thought that if i buy this i will soruound it in padding until i learn using it and then souround it a little less but how is the lighting at night? is it easily visible for cars?

and also do you know some other alternatives that are cheaper and have a pull up handle that are cehaper and have somwhere around the same speed ju to get some alternatives going

Here's the thing about speed; the faster you go the more it hurts when you come off, and you WILL come off.  Maybe not today, or tomorrow, but one day, something will catch you out. I've been thrown down the road at around 28kmh and it was no fun.  It's also very embarrassing.

That's why I recently picked the slower of two wheels I was considering as a second wheel.  More power,? Yes, bigger wheel? Yes,  more features? Yes, bigger battery? Yes, but only slightly faster than my current wheel at top speed.  I just wanted to cruise at 30kph comfortably with more safety.  Note, I didn't say "complete" safety.

The Tesla speed means more safety headroom at lower speeds, but even the mighty Tesla will throw you down the road if you drive over a brick you didn't see.  You still have to keep your brain engaged; it's where safety starts.

oh yeah. Went from KS14c (340Wh) to KS16s (840Wh) for your reference.

Part of your project is to do your research. The answers  to your questions are all out there for the searching.  And YouTube (can you get YouTube?) videos show everything, from learning, falling, crashing, tricks, cruising, mountain climbing, and riding fast.  It's fantastic fun, and I know I speak for everyone here, when I say that. @Marty Backe can probably tell you his typical average speed across ALL his wheels.

I'm not sure anyone  cruises much faster than 35kph on a regular basis ( I could be wrong about that).  Remember, the faster you ride the harder you crash, 40kph on you face, and hands, or shoulder, and elbows is no fun, and could be fatal.  You also have to consider who or what your 19kg wheel will hit when hurtling out of control at high speed.  It could kill someone.  That makes you a killer (man slaughter, not murder) there's more to consider than just how much fun you'll have or how quickly you can get to school.

i really am considirng it this is like in the middle of a bike and a gas scooter (i dont know what theire called its like a smaller motor bike)

and yes i know youtube who doesnt :) but i am not thinking about buying this only for "fun" but for a practical ride than is also fun and unique but i will be buying it as a serious transport vehicle that i will use for years on

but the question: does it run away when you fall off?

There's this thing called "censorship ". Certain governments do not want their people to know everything that is going on in the rest of the world, so they censor (restrict) various forms of media ( news, video, radio, tv, etc). I do believe some people on this forum are not able to view YouTube.  I didn't expect you to know that as your 14,. Bit you do now..

scooter, moped (motorised pedal bike), we know what you mean.  Just don't get fat from lack of exercise, there's enough fat kids already, storing up health problems for the future.

Sometimes.  Sometimes they go a long way (watch more vids). Imaging standing around minding your own business and suddenly a 19kg hard object hits you in the back of the legs, at speed.  Or imaging it hurtling towards a small child, or out into the street, infront of a motorcycle, or bus full of people. All sorts of injury and damage can be caused to others and their property. That's why I alway ride with a leash. It gives me some chance of controlling the wheel if I come off.  Often, the natural tug on the leash, as I'm falling, causes it to topple over and crash within 2 feet of my departure. You're 14 you haven't had dealings in the adult world where blame, responsibility and punishment is demanded or required by law enforcement or the courts. How would your dad feel if your wheel rolled under a Ferrari?  He wouldn't like those bills.  Like I said before, there are other things to consider other than your own needs or enjoyment.

btw, your English is very good.

There are 7 variants, 3 with 67.2V (I would not buy any of these) and 4 with 84V. Details about the models see here.

The 84V 1020Wh is the biggest model, and many dealers only sell this one. For 30-40km range in maybe cold weather, you should get a big battery, so at least 850Wh, or better 1020Wh. Range also depends on your weight - what's your weight (with clothes and shoes and backpack and everything)?

That's exactly what electric unicycle are - like a bike, but faster and no effort, but not quite like a scooter. And so much fun to ride! Very useful for actual transportation and commuting.

It will just fall over and tumble/roll to a stop.

Well... that depends on how you jump off and the state of the wheel at the point of evacuation.

The wheel is quite capable of rolling on at speed for some distance if the dismount doesn't disturb it's cg sufficiently.

Generally it will be unbalanced enough to fall over but it can, and will, run away from you in the right circumstances. it is not self centering/stopping like a segway or minipro.

Let's just say, the standard behavior you should expect is that it falls over or tumbles to a stop

+1!

but this „standard behaviour“ can still leave the wheel jumping, tumbling for quite many meters with quite some „impact power“ especially at higher speeds!

(instead of you having to chase it going into the distance towards the horizon, into freedom from the oppressive rider).

I‘have just seen a wheel once driving nicely towards the danube channel ready to go for a swim (on a straight road) - was luckily stopped by two small trees.

another topic is going downhill - there „runaways“ can be quite endless...

:o sorry, didn't realize this was a point of contention... (can a dismounted wheel keep going riderless)

/me puts this on "the" list.

I experimented with this in a fenced-in children's playground as no.one.else. seems to ever do experiments with their wheels. Shameful.

If you bail or jump off your wheel, and you did it evenly, then, yes, your wheel will go on forever, in a straight line, until it hits something. It functions like a running torpedo, god knows when it stops. Worringly, my VF5+ accelerated instead of slowing down.

If you bail slightly off center, then the wheel circles around, possibly to hit you.

If you drag your foot then the wheel wobbles enough to drag something on the ground, and instantly stops. This is the best case. A leash (which I do not use) would probably always cause the wheel to wobble like this.

I need to redo this experiment while recording it and even then I wonder if this will make even the slightest impression on the Luddites. I mean, I'll probably jerk off to naked wheel porn if that convinces anyone to do a 180 on their thinking.

Also Gotways have some delay turning the motor off once it falls, which can lead to not so nice jumps/wheel „biting“ ones ankles? (Never really rode a gotway so this is only by hearsay).

but as @Jason McNeil stated this is about to be solved in the very near future:

(this would deserve imho an own topic!)

@Shad0z so since at your place riding in wintertime is not real fun maybe some waiting before ordering a gotway would be a good idea?

Hi !

( i'm sorry for spelling mistakes because I only write through google translate )

I've been driving almost every day for EUC four years  . I love long distances and a quick and sometimes aggressive ride . However, there have been only three kraches.

One of them is 35-36kph !    But the most serious injuries were the first and the slowest Airwheel ( max 14 kph . Face slipping rough asphalt and that's why I would never recommend a low-power wheel to anyone ) .

I have not happened even in the worst conditions, not wheel has itself  driven away . You need to constantly take into account your skills and the environment when driving the wheel !!!

When i motorcycle jumps incorrectly, the motorcycle will continue to move independently . The same situation with the car with cabriolet you can fall out and the car becomes an unmanageable bang !

I want to say that not turning off for on the slope is a safety element for fast drive  !!!  If you go for a high speed with a curve, then this so-called safe wheel turns itself off at full speed. Because he thinks that he is already over 45 degrees in the slope and therefore probably already fell !! This problem was in trouble for EUC-extreme  and concluded that less than 75 degrees should not be turned off !

Power on wheel, careless tilting is the same as dropping a powerful motorcycle when the gear is in and the engine is running !!

I would not like to avoid removing important features from the wheels  in order to use them carelessly and imprudently  !

We must not go to traffic before driving is clear in every situation ! It should also include skills in pointing out the wheel reflexive for unexpected situation .

And do not let believe that 40kph and 25kg wheel for belt or cord stick we can hold on !

thanks i cheat a little with google transelate but i type most part but i have concidered a lot what can happen many people in my age dont care and sometimes they dont think of the other side of things (most) i usually think something through about 10 times before doing it

and i am still trying find out how to get money and if it still is a good idea i was a little impulsive i wanted one NOW but it tones down quickly and i start thinking about downsides or why not just buy a bike? but krasnodar (where i live) is not known for bike paths but it has great areas with fountains and a lot of places where a euc would be spot on perfect for this city i actually first saw My current ninebot mini a place where some guys rented them 10 minute for money i tried and i was hooked and i will be even more hooked when i get a euc but! Safety first!  And then the second part *anxiety intesifies* (Money)     with the amount of money i get each month can get the euc in 2 years and every kind if job you can find is not a lot but not a lot will become a lot someday ;) thank you for you replys very happy someone wants to help me taking the steps in the dark side
