Hey Mike,

Thanks for the reply and Facebook group suggestions. I've sent through the requests and will monitor those groups for any upcoming rides.

Yeah the Veteran Sherman is a beast! I love it!! My KS-18XL is still awesome but 50 km/hr was right on the limit and there's nothing like being able to cruise around at that speed with even more power in reserve!! The knobby tire sounds cool as well :)

Sounds good! I'm definitely keen to catch up for a ride whenever you're free.

So I actually went for the street tyre, despite what Kuji said. I'm not really an off-roader, or into the super high speeds so I've been really happy with it.

I'm still lurking mainly :-)

I can't bring myself to ride much in 40' heat.

I'd be keen to have a go at Jarrahdale at some point though,  its the closest ride area to me now being in Mandurah.   I've ridden it a couple of times on my ebikes but never on an EUC.

We've got lots of path and a bit of walk trail around here.   Hit me up if anyone wants to come down to Mandurah for a ride.

Hi guys and gals!

Happy New Year - welcome 2021!!!

Not sure if anyone still monitors this thread....no posts since October - oh well worth a try nonetheless :D

I recently signed up to the forum. I've upgraded from my Kingsong 18XL to the Veteran Sherman :) and am keen to meet up with fellow EUC riders. Doesn't matter if you have something smaller or less powerful. More about socialising with like minded individuals for some cruisy rides.

I'm in Success but don't mind travelling. I quite often head to Kalamunda and Jarrahdale to hit up the Mountain Bike trails with my KS 18XL - especially after I put the Clark Pads. It's great fun to be able to jump over things without having to worry if your feet will slip off on landing.

Cheers!

Troy

Hi Troy,

Always keen when I'm home. Won't be till mid Feb unfortunately. What are the mtb trails like?

Sounds good! I'm not too far from Mandurah so keen to check out some spots you've discovered :)

Hey mate,

They're good fun! Have to be careful of the boulders in some of the more technical trails as the foot plates can get caught and you can get ejected off your EUC. There are some good flowing trails you can get some good speed on. Really depends on your confidence level. Would be well suited if you had an Inmotion V11.

Unfortunately Feb is no good for me as I'll be out of action for a while - I'm having shoulder surgery at the end of Jan but will definitely hit you up once I've recovered for a ride somewhere.

Happy New Year and look forward to meeting you on a Wednesday night ride. I am feeling a bit inadequate on my MCM5 in the company of tanks. Haha.

Mark

Hey Mark,

If there's a group ride next Wednesday I'll definitely come along - my wife has an electric scooter so I'll drag her along too :)

No need to feel inadequate, it's about getting out there and having fun no matter what size EUC. I started on a Segway Ninebot One S2 - it's dwarfed by my other wheels.

You could always sell your skateboard and upgrade your MCM5!

When I sell the bike, I might buy an 18". I rode Mike's Sherman on Wednesday night. That really is massive. I keep up with all you guys anyway. :)

Yep when I sell my bike I'll probably be picking up a sherman!

I was leaning towards the Gotway RS but the bearing issues and recent fire issues has really turned me off.

Makes sense as you use it to commute. I can't justify the cost. I might have to buy your old Gotway when you get the Sherman.

The fact that you're hunting for a loophole already tells you everything you need to know about whether or not you should be going out.
Over the past year or so, every possible excuse has been imagined,  tried,  used,  and regardless of anything you can come up with to justify doing what you want to do,  it really amounts to either you put aside your wishes and be willing to do what you're asked for the greater good...  or you're a self centred asshole.

If you want more idea's for loophole excuses,  join any fishing group.   :-)
