And he probably did pay that. The ACM is wide enough at the top that the wheel is almost vertical in the stand. I ordered that one originally for my V8 but it was not tall enough and ended up with the Amazon Basics one (which does also fold down very small although not as small as the Aroma). Here it is in folded form. Here you can see the three lockable width positions (good for wheels of all size). I go widest on my V8 (16"). And here it is in action. If you look at the image showing it supporting the back of the wheel then imagine the Aroma one as having the back support pushing on the case much lower down. Roughly where the Inmotion logo is printed. For a top heavy EUC like the V8 with the cell bank above the wheel this gave the high center of gravity the leverage to 1) cause the lower placed back support to put a lot of pressure on the case and 2) be more likely to rotate left or right out of the stand. I've had zero issues with the Amazon Basics stand and as it was so cheap I just brought two so I have one at home and one at work which negates the whole weight and folded size issue. The Aroma stand was nice. I especially liked the pivoting rear support pad. But it just isn't the best choice for larger EUC's in my opinion. Ill probably go the same then with my Ninebot One E+ surely that will do the trick. Just looking for basic parking, currently it is taking up a slot in my floor bike stand.
