Gotway- How to change Motor Connectors

I misplaced 2 of the shell screws during the rebuild so I'm pleased with the packet of spares. Yes the thermal compound would have been nice but when I saw the size of the tube I knew immediately it was not the silver paste. A tube of that size would have been expensive. I can't read the Chinese verbiage on the tube so it could very well be KY jelly?  :) Regarding the firmware yes in the back of my mind I have a slight concern but then I ponder why the company would go to the effort and personally contact me about the firmware issue? I may contact Jason and ask if he would update the board. Actually I now have 2 spares.

Should I ask the Gotway Gods to send a lightning bolt your way and fry a board, so that you can make use of a spare? Otherwise it seems such a waste for two boards to be sitting unused :w00t2:

Just don't leave that tube of "RTV" toothpaste on the bathroom counter, or your wife might have a few words for you!  :efee8319ab:

At least we now know what that white adhesive stuff is that they use on the boards.  Kafuter 704 RTV industrial silicone adhesive.

BTW, what eBay seller did you get your ACM board from?  Others might want to have a parts source just in case they climb Mount Chino again.  :efef2e0fff:

This one?

or maybe this one:

How can you tell which voltage they are for?  67.2 vs 84?

Funny...Ha Ha! :)

Being the Gotway Gods have continually cast their supernatural spells on you, more than any other member on the planet,  the spare is sitting on my shelf waiting for your next episode.  :P

What's a few more as she already has had words for me coming home late every night.  Great research! Thanks!

The one below.  Also they ask for the model and serial # of your wheel before shipping out the board so you receive the correct one.

Brand new Gotway Youtube channel. 2 videos, removing an msuper V3 board, and assembling the board side again. Thanks to @Toshio Uemura for pointing to these videos.

The putting in of the board video is very interesting. They do the same thing Ian shows (clear loose tubes around the connectors, just tie them together with the cable tie) but it's only a temporary intermediate step to test if the wheel is working! Then they remove the cable tie again (it is only there to prevent shorts in the few seconds of testing), and the clear tubing is actually heat shrink! Cables are then not tied together again, just loosely inside as they should be.

Can be seen around 3:00.

Looks to me we (I;)) blamed Gotway when it was Ian who either showed the incomplete process, or didn't complete the assembly and ended at an intermediate step (with possibly bad consequences should someone reproduce and think it's finished when it's not, but at least any heat will make the clear as-it-turns-out-they're-heat-shrink tubes hold better).

The Gotway factory also makes a little more orderly impression than earlier footage.
