GotWay Msuper doesn't connect to iOS app

My GotWay Msuper V2 will not connect to the GotWay app on my iPhone 7. I press 'scan' on the app and it keeps searching and searching but it doesn't find my Msuper. I am aware that the Msuper V2 only supports the older Bluetooth and not the 4.0 Bluetooth in the new iPhones. How could I solve this? Is using an older phone with the older Bluetooth the only solution?

Hi,

I have an older MCM2s, I guess you're not using the right app, the newer gotway app don't recognize the older Gotways. Another thing, in order for the app not to crash, you need to select "english" as your phone language, otherwise the app may crash.

Here is a french link for the older apps: http://blog.wheel.lu/gotway-app/

Bluetooth should not be an issue. Keep us updated if it works ;)

I think that the only way to connect to the v2 is with an older android phone and the old gotway app. The only way to get the old gotway app to work, is to use an older android phone with English language selected. i think the software needs to be android 5.0 or older. i have the msuper v2 and i am using a samsung s4 active. I have android 5.0.1 but i can no longer change the setting on the wheel. i could change the settings last year. so i think if you have 5.0 or older everything should work. I dont need to change the settings anymore so i have not tried to download an older version. I also had to connect the blutooth on the phone first, then turn blutooth off and connect trough the app. If this does not work you might have å bad blutooth board. i had to replace the blutooth board just recently. This is the app:

Why did you uninstall WheelLog? It does everything except wheel calibration. In WheelLog, swipe from the left to access the Wheel Configuration menu button. If it's grayed out, exit the screen and swipe from the left again - now the Wheel Config menu button will be active. You can then turn off the first two alarms and disable tilt-back.

P.s. Be sure to download the WheelLog app from the Play Store, to get the most recent version.

P.s.s. You can have WheelLog and the Gotway app installed at the same time. Both recent versions work fine on my phone. On the Gotway app you have to click on the Connect icon in the upper left to actually connect to the wheel.
