Ninebot stand.

I really need to get myself a 3D printer!  Love what you guys are doing with them.

For the time being, I just added Two Nuts on each side of the original NineBot Stand and it made the width perfect to hold it steady.  Cost around $1 and Super Easy to do.

I bought this package at Home Depot. They are M8-1.25 Metric Coarse Thread.

Really Surprised Ninebot didn't just do this from the beginning by extending the plastic a tiny bit.

A little update on acrylic stands:

@adamo I've mailed banggood about that acrylic stand but they answered "out of stock and will never be in stock again"...

So I found a seller on ebay who can produce custom items for me. Very good person and promtly answers all my questions. I have now ordered some stands from him that I hope will work with my 9b1 (modelled the stand out of cardboard to measure it).

I will chime in about the results when I get my parcel.

The order in question is searchable on US Ebay by nr. 141990587523

@adamo, @StreetMeatNYC, I got my customized acrylic stands. Shipped from China to Oslo in 3 days (!) and it took another 5 days from Oslo to me (customs are sloooow). My measurements were spot on. Ninebot rests nicely on them and I can turn it on without the wheel moving (touching the bottom just right):

DIY Ninebot A1 stand.  The plastic stand ran out of stock even in China.  So I just buy aluminum from local hardware store, cut it to down, use Dremel to shape it, then drill two holes.  An added advantage of this is I can slightly bend the legs to achieve the proper balance.  And the thin legs will bend during a crash which will absorb damage to the mounting holes.  The looks of course not as good as the original, but after I covered it with black heat shrink tubing, it looks not as obvious.

Attaching trolley handle to this position does not make it easier to carry since the wheel will sway to left or right and is still not able to balance when being toll.  I think the best place to put trolley handle is right in the middle top of the wheel exactly where the orignal handle is located, but it is difficult to do so since its handle is made of soft rubber and is not sturdy.

Is that the original tire?  The wear bars are starting to show.  You might want to think about replacing the tire. You have put a lot of miles on your Bot. Not making fun, you have done over 430 miles.

No, that's a brand new Maxxis HookWorm tire.  They don't have a lot of deep tread, but they sure ride nice.  I've ridden on pavement, gravel, dirt, and water, and so far it's super sticky.

My original tire almost appears new still.  These tires wear forever...
