Pezman Posted April 12, 2017 Posted April 12, 2017 For those who actually own a set of handlebars for a Segway Mini Pro: what's the verdict? Are handlebars worth it?
Tjtripp Posted April 12, 2017 Posted April 12, 2017 I dont own them, but I considered getting them. From the videos I watched, they seemed unnecessary. I like having my hands free on mine. Just my opinion..
Pezman Posted April 12, 2017 Author Posted April 12, 2017 I'm considering them for my tourist units (that I'm dreaming about), would likely make it much easier for people with no Segway experience to get on and go... What do you folks think?
Ozpeter Posted April 12, 2017 Posted April 12, 2017 Remember to ensure that the tourists don't let go of the handlebarred MiniPro - it is liable to take off on its own like an unguided missile (due to the handlebars unbalancing the device).

kasenutty Posted April 12, 2017 Posted April 12, 2017 I considered it when I was waiting for delivery, but after I tried it, I considered it no longer.
icom Posted April 13, 2017 Posted April 13, 2017 I considered it at the very beginning thinking it'll feel much more stable with it. But as I got very comfortable with the minipro as is (and you do master it very quickly), the handlebars are not necessary and would actually be annoying because it adds so much height, weight imbalance. etc
