Hello readers and riders!

I apologize for my English, if it has any errors.

First of all, let me introduce myself: My name is Ilya, I'm the iOS Developer since 2009. Also I have Ninebot One E since April 2015. Then I decided to combine these skills into my new app - DarknessBot.
The application is available only for iOS 9.0 and higher.
Ninebot haven't presented any official APIs yet, so I cooperated with the GyroMetrics developer - Paco Gorina (special thanks for helping with Ninebot BLE protocol)

The application from the active EUC owners!

It supports the following models:
► Ninebot One (C, C+, E, E+, P)
► Inmotion (V3, V3C, V3S, V3Pro, V5, V5+, V5F, V8, R1, R1N, R1S, R1S, R1T, R1AP, R1CF, R1EX, R2, R2N, R2S, R2EX, L6)
► Gotway (MCM2, MCM4, ACM, MSuper V1/V2/V3, Monster)
► KingSong (14, 16, 18)

Features:
◉ Modify tiled interface that you can customize
◉ Displaying all available metrics through Bluetooth LE:
   ► Current speed
   ► Maximum speed
   ► Total mileage
► Remaining mileage (depending of rider's weight, the battery charging cycles, and weather conditions)
   ► Total runtime
   ► Battery level
► Temperature of the controller (not for all models)
   ► Power
   ► Voltage
► Longitudinal and transverse tilt (not for all models)
◉ Logging and displaying graphs of metrics (up to a month)
◉ Record video from a camera with a sensor display
◉ Changing the riding mode (not for all models)
◉ Changing maximum speed (experimental)
◉ Changing the maximum speed on limited mode (experimental)
◉ Changing lock mode (not for all models)
◉ Changing limited speed mode (not for all models)
◉ Compass and weather forecast
◉ Apple Watch support
◉ HealthKit Integration

What next:
◉ One more thing

Beta test 1.2
◉ Support Ninebot One A1/S2

Application for free, but it has a few paid functions. So I provide 40 promocodes for this forum.

Download from Appstore

Hey!! I am looking to create same type of app for renting out for dcscooter.com and really just want Bluetooth lock functionality. Can we talk? Thanks so much!

Hello! I think you can’t attach screenshots until you haven’t some messages or reputation points, see it in forum rules, please...

While you have a new m365 pro, I suppose you have newest BLE version and firmware.
Cause strong data encryption we can’t support it 😔

We support m365 (pro) with

- BLE version 0091 and prior

- firmware 1.6.1 and prior.

Check please what is your versions. (I think you can find this data in official app.)
But if you can connecting to app, but see empty tiles with spinners on dashboard - 99% you have newest BLE or FW.

DarknessBot supports M365 only with BLE version 0.9.1 or prior. In higher version BLE is encrypted and no one has decrypted it until now.

About screens Map and Profile:

Firstly, check your iPhone settings - Settings/Apple ID/iCloud - DarknessBot and iCloudDrive toggles should be on.

If it’s ok, trying this (better doing it on desktop or tablet):

1. Go to website https://www.icloud.com/settings/

2. Login with your iCloud email and pass.

3. Look up for "Advanced" section

4. Go to "Manage Apps That Can Look You Up"

5. Switch on DarknessBot app toggle

Can confirm on latest beta new features work

Gotway MSX and Mten3 speed change and riding mode change and calibration

all tested and working

managed to hit 56km/h on the MSX With tilt back still on

chickened out when the wheel double beeped, never heard that before and it wasn’t the 80% alarm

had the max speed set to 55km/h in the DB app

only thing I’ve noticed is remaining battery percentage calculation may have changed?

AW locks automatically by security reason if not detects your hand.

I disable "wrist detection" before my rides, and then I don't need the pin code for the duration of my ride (with my watch attached to my wrist guard)

My Gotway 1245 100v is now connecting (thnk you) but showing Voltage as 67v.(  this is a 100v wheel).

Any ideas  ?

Update received response via email:

Hello, Paul!

Please, set voltage in app settings at 100v.

In DarknessBot -> Settings/Device/Voltage
You should be connecting to msx while doing it.

Best regards,

@Trevor Phillips, thank you for test! :)
Yes, you're right, we've changed battery percentage calculation. How do you think, has it gotten better?

@RayBanMonster, oh, you're welcome ;)

To be honest all I know is its changed

ill have a closer look and think about it next ride

to be honest I’d rather the percentage be a little pessimistic by a couple of percent rather than the other way around

i understand Gotway report battery voltage differently

what would be great is a device that plugs into the charging port that is a battery voltage display, surely that would be quite easy to make...

Sorry, I missing your message.

About it. Couple days ago we have bought Satechi smart plug for Apple Home. (Mostly for trying Apple Home and playing with smart plugs😁

Whatever, if you know any popular plugs, I think we could add supporting for it.

We just switching off plugs on timer now, but in free time we’ll add ability to switch off plugs when EUC voltage is near 100% we can get this info from DB.

Functionality depends of plugs but we could add such functions as charging until custom user voltage level, full-charge notification, auto-switching off plugs and many other things, what we can imagine.

What do you thing about it, guys?😀

Hello. Do you support the kingsong ks-x1 kickscooter?  There is a speedlimit on mine id like to remove. Bought wrong version. The one with 20km/h limit :/

I don’t sure we have tested it with this model.
The app is free, you can just download it from App Store and try it🙂

Speed settings is free.
Paid features don’t provide better connection or more metrics, and don’t cut off maximum speed meaning. So, don’t bought to get it.

Wrong version.... Do you mean Chinese (domestic region) version?
