So I've just started using darknessbot and it's very inaccurately reporting my mileage.  It said I had done 49.5 miles whereas I had only done about 26 (measured by gps).  Not sure what's going on.  Maybe some telemetry error in that it's getting data in km and thinking it's miles.  It's still out even then.  50km ~= 30 miles.

Any thoughts ?

Nope.  Gotway MSX. I use my GPS watch but it would be nice to know what range I have left.

Hi Ilya. I noticed you tested the app on an inmotion V8 earlier in the thread. Do you still ride a V8?

I'd like to unlock mine to 33km/h or so. Did you have any issues after unlocking? (Cutouts/odd tiltback behavior.)

Will the wheel still reduce max speed depending on battery level or is the max speed now fixed?

Is this a common problem? Did you check it in Gotway app?

Do you set a pin code on your device?

If so, try to disable pin code in Ninebot app, after it, DarknessBot would worked

OK, so I just did another run & literally just got in 5 minutes ago.  Wanted to test this out but it's not conclusive.  I turned off the AI option, reset all the counters and did 28.5 miles (gps watch, which may not be 100% accurate as I accidentally hit the stop button on my watch).  Darknessbot showed 29.5miles on the Odo so it must have either been a user error on my behalf or the AI is causing inaccurate results. Within 3% is plenty accurate for me.

I'll keep an eye out to see if anything changes.  Thanks for all the tips and thoughts everyone.  Appreciate it.

Yes, I steel ride on V8. After unlocking to 35 kph a controller will be tiltback on ~33 kph (depends on acceleration, weight, etc.) for 100% battery. On lower battery level tiltback will be earlier

No cut-off in my case, but more faceplant risk through a overlean on top speed.

Cool! Do you ride your V8 unlocked to 35km/h all the time? How many km have you done since the unlock?

I'm 65kg and I can feel the V8 has enough power for me. I never ride offroad. I've done 10.000km and I love this V8. It has never let me down.

Sounds like accelerating until hitting the tilt back should be ok.

For many thousand km my sounds were off (corrupted) so I used to ride the tiltback @30km/h all the time. I got comfortable with my feet angled up basically. 2000km ago I decided I wanted to hear the warning sounds in case I push the wheel too hard going up a hill and guess what, I kind of back off now to until hitting the tiltback.

I'm hoping that I can do the same "safely" with the wheel unlocked.

I'm using V8 6500km (~15000km in total), also never let me down :)

Ride with 35 kph unlocked, but I not love to drive higher then 25 kph

Hello readers and riders!

I apologize for my English, if it has any errors.

First of all, let me introduce myself: My name is Ilya, I'm the iOS Developer since 2009. Also I have Ninebot One E since April 2015. Then I decided to combine these skills into my new app - DarknessBot.
The application is available only for iOS 9.0 and higher.
Ninebot haven't presented any official APIs yet, so I cooperated with the GyroMetrics developer - Paco Gorina (special thanks for helping with Ninebot BLE protocol)

The application from the active EUC owners!

It supports the following models:
► Ninebot One (C, C+, E, E+, P)
► Inmotion (V3, V3C, V3S, V3Pro, V5, V5+, V5F, V8, R1, R1N, R1S, R1S, R1T, R1AP, R1CF, R1EX, R2, R2N, R2S, R2EX, L6)
► Gotway (MCM2, MCM4, ACM, MSuper V1/V2/V3, Monster)
► KingSong (14, 16, 18)

Features:
◉ Modify tiled interface that you can customize
◉ Displaying all available metrics through Bluetooth LE:
   ► Current speed
   ► Maximum speed
   ► Total mileage
► Remaining mileage (depending of rider's weight, the battery charging cycles, and weather conditions)
   ► Total runtime
   ► Battery level
► Temperature of the controller (not for all models)
   ► Power
   ► Voltage
► Longitudinal and transverse tilt (not for all models)
◉ Logging and displaying graphs of metrics (up to a month)
◉ Record video from a camera with a sensor display
◉ Changing the riding mode (not for all models)
◉ Changing maximum speed (experimental)
◉ Changing the maximum speed on limited mode (experimental)
◉ Changing lock mode (not for all models)
◉ Changing limited speed mode (not for all models)
◉ Compass and weather forecast
◉ Apple Watch support
◉ HealthKit Integration

What next:
◉ One more thing

Beta test 1.2
◉ Support Ninebot One A1/S2

Application for free, but it has a few paid functions. So I provide 40 promocodes for this forum.

That’s strange.
Try to change voltage settings.
