The Ninebot One gets are short appearance in today's Grand Tour Episode. In true TG/GT style, a bit slapdash—is it really possibly Hammond wasn't aware you have to have the Wheel on the ground before turning it on? During the TG glory days, the show had a Worldwide viewership figures 450 million, so be prepared to be bombarded with 'is that the thing that was on Grand Tour?' questions....

Well, making fun of them because they don't know how to ride them can also be good, it shows you have to learn them, and like @Jason McNeil said, if that show has a large audience, any publicity is good publicity.  Telling though that the ninebot was featured, I wonder if Ninebot provided that in the hopes of some free advertising?

It's too bad they didn't spend more time learning how to ride the Ninebot.  With that many viewers of the show, it's great exposure for these wheels if only they showed them off a little more.

Yeah, I wish they had actually ridden the darn things, but the audience was so close I guess they didn't want to risk it.

I actually wanted to see those jet skates in action, now I have no idea what they do, the EUC I know what it does, but the audience barely got a clue:(

They were looking to be sensational, "Hey!, what does this thing do that we can spend 5 seconds on and get a reaction from the viewers?"  Television is all about the ratings:(

@MaxLinux great link, now I know what the rocket skates are like, didn't think I would want them, now I sure don't, but it was a very good review.

I would be interested in his opinions on different brands of EUC's, he seems to be unbiased and fair.

Great photo of the skates, those tiny shock absorbers look like they came from an RC car:P

This is a better look at the RocketSkates:

(He actually has riden the V3s and V5F+ by Inmotion.)

And he's actually ridden electric scooters.

RocketSkates, Electric Skateboards, most Electric Scooters, & the 'Hoverboard', all share the same fundamental flaw... Wheel diameters are too small.

This is where the Electric Unicycle really excels, within the 14-18" sizes none of these other products are anywhere near as capable over the types of surfaces you encounter everyday.

Speaking of timing, look what just popped up on the channel 20 minutes ago...

Wow! that scooter has a bigger battery, higher speed, longer range and is cheaper than my Ninebotone E+.  And it has suspension:blink:
