Marty Backe Posted December 12, 2016 Share Posted December 12, 2016 This Saturday (December 17th) we will be riding the Fullerton Loop, a fantastic off-road trail that winds its way through 11 miles of back country in Fullerton. I posted a recent ride here if you want to see the riding conditions. There are a few very steep sections where you might have to walk your wheel. We meet at the trail head to depart 9am. Expect to be riding for a solid 2 hours. swvision Posted December 13, 2016 Share Posted December 13, 2016 Fullerton's a little too far for me Marty but i'd like to join you guys next time you're closer to Griffith Park or in the San Fernando Valley. There are some mountain trails near me but I haven't investigated to see if they'd accept unicycles. We had a fun ride today. It was kind of a mud-fest which made for challenging riding. The wheels needed a good rinsing by the time we were done. Marty Backe Posted January 11, 2017 Author Share Posted January 11, 2017 Weather permitting I'm usually up for a ride any given weekend. With all the rain I'm avoiding any dirt trail riding for now. It's a bit far from you, but there are lots of choices in the Griffith Park area for good rides. The river trails can be interesting too.
