  1. 1. You are wheeling along a pavement next to a moderately busy road. 2 mothers, both with twin prams, are blocking the entire path, and moving incredibly slowly in the direction you are heading. Do you:

    • Slow down, announce your presence, and ask nicely if you can come past ?

Difficult to answer as I love both children and dogs but you forgot another hypothetical. :)

You're not wrong. And dogs look where they are going, children just... don't.

But take your eye off the ground & you're liable to find a raised paving slab, thus sending you flying in front of all of them - & they won't realise why you're suddenly on the floor!
