Just got my new 820wh from different source. I want to make sure it is 820 and not 640, what is the difference in weight?

Thanks

there is no difference in weight on 680 and 820wh!

one uses 2900mah batteries...one uses 3500mah batteries...but same number of cells!

you just can check (100%) by opening the batterie pack...and look which cells are in!

I've just weighted those two cells. NCR18650GA(3500mAh) is 47.4g per cell and NCR18650PF(2900mAh) is 44.9g. All packs are made of 64 cells, so the weight difference is 0.16kg. The weight of my 820Wh was 19.75kg, you may be able to tell the difference if you are lucky by weighing your unit.

The simplest way to tell is by looking at the small label outside the EUC.
A more completed way is to open the left cover to see the label of the battery pack. 410Wh pack indicates 820Wh.
An even more  completed way is to open the shrink wrap tube to see the label of the battery cells.
An ultimate way to determine the capacity is to test it by an electronic load.

v2 on 850wh is a complete different batterie configuration!!!

on the v2 680 you have on 680 wh 2 x 16s2p packs (2x340wh)

for the 850wh version you have 2 x 16s2ppack(2x340wh) PLUS 1 x 16s1p (170wh)

all Versions using the 2900mah cell.....

sure: this are 16 cells more....so more weight...

(btw: very GOOD sellers can deliver the V2 with 1035wh->2x414plus 1x207, using the 3500mah cell)

now V3:

680wh : 2 x 16s2p pack using 2900mah cells(2x340wh)

820wh: 2 x 16s2p pack using 3500mah cells(2x410wh)

thats also why its 850wh on the v2 but only 820wh on the V3.....

yes...sure the 3500mah cell can weigh 1-2 gram more or even less! than the 2900 cell!

but as same number of cells-64- its same weight in general! to check this on v3 by weight is nonsense, as a small rubber tape or longer wire can make this difference also....

so on the v3 you have to look in or use a charge doctor.....on the v2 you can check by weight!

Know your batteries ;-)
