Gotway Msuper 1640wh version V3 33km review ;)

Recommended Posts

So i am 33 km in and I have about 70% battery left so based on this I think its safe to say I will end up with about 90km. Now I must admit that I am constantly pushing this unit as fast as it can go so I think a more conservative rider would easily get above 100km. I am also about 195 lbs. since the moment I got on the unit I noticed instantly just how powerful the unit is. I have been riding a V2 HS for over a year and the V3 is faster and has more torque then the v2. Also they are using a different tire on the V3 which I find to make all the difference. the tire used on the V2 is a cheap tire and I have seen 3 of them and they are all not 100% true. I had to reset the tire on both my V2's as soon as I received the unit. But dont get me wrong the V2 was a monster and has never let me down, but I'm in love with my V3. I am using a iphone 6s plus and I have had no problems with the app at all. All settings are able to be changed and besides the jumping battery meter when riding, I do find it does a good job when the unit is stopped at given you true battery percentage. The trolley handle is another story. with the weight of this unit, theres only one way to really use it and thats to stand behind the unit with handle in front of you and walk forward. And even then once you start losing balance from side to side the unit is just to heavy and the handle to fragile that you cant control it. I personally have not had to use it yet but if theres a time I need to walk a far distance and can't ride the unit then i think the handle will do its job. I love the design of the unit. I personally love the glossy look of the V3 and at first I did not like the white sides, but now I dont think I can go with out them.  I will do a updated review as a ride more this weekend but all I can say is this unit is a monster and I highly recommended it. The torque is so impressive that as soon as you lean forward the unit just goes. Now as far as the warning beeps I have been keeping a good eye on them and this is what I noticed so far. and i'm hoping someone with a 1600wh can let us know there experience. I have shut off the first 2 alarms on my unit so the last alarm that comes on is the 80% power beeps which are 5 continuous beeps. On a full charge the final beeps were coming on at about 42km. Once i dipped below about 80% battery that number went down. Now its coming on at about 36km. So if 80% power is at 36km then that would mean you can probably ride this unit safely at 40km as long as you are above 50% battery. And at full charge you can probably get to about 45km. Now my V2 the final alarm came on at full charge around 34km so the V3 is about 20% faster I would assume. Now as my battery would drop on the V2 so would my speed where final alarm would come on so both units are acting in the same way. Now we just need to get a in depth comparison of both 16xx models. I'm really curious what top speed is on that unit.
