kutak
Hi everybody I have bought a new hoverboard, so the battery is uncharged, but when I plug the charger into the wall and into the hoverboard I see a green light in the charger but that doesn't have sense because green light means charged and it's uncharged. I tried to wait 1 half houer in green light and still not working. Please any advice, thanks
Keith
The green light does not, exactly, mean charged it just means less than a certain amount of current is flowing into the battery. When a battery is charging it will draw the full current of the charger and light the LED red (usually). Once the battery is charged that current drops to a lower and lower value until, at some point the charger LED changes to green. So the LED will also turn green if no current is flowing I.e. There is a disconnection between the charging socket and the battery cells. That could be a wiring fault on your part - or a fault in the BMS (battery Management System I.e. The circuit board that is part of the battery.
