Please tell us about a RIDE of yours that involved STOPPING for FOOD

I would love to hear about a ride you have taken (whether just once or many times) that involved stopping for something to eat or drink.

"Last mile transport" notwithstanding... i'd love to hear more about how YOU use YOUR EUC for RECREATION

A MAP of your route would be great... showing us where you stop

I know that the RIDE is the "thing" her and not necessarily the destination (except for those commuting on their EUCs), but please take a moment to tell us more about how YOU have enjoyed the world of one-wheel travel

as always, thanks in advance

to get started... here's a ride i'm going to do as soon as my wheel(s) arrive:

There are so many places to stop along the way... especially on Clearwater Beach.
What about where YOU live?

That looks like it'll be a great ride. I love riding along the water.

Screen Shot 2016-10-30 at 4.04.26 PM.pngclearwater beach was listed as THE NICEST BEACH in ALL 50 STATES... just last year

getting too commercialized, of course...

it'll be even worse now... :o

As you and I had talked about last week I won't make it a habit to ride along the beach because we get a lot of wind and there is salt and sand everywhere and no matter what waterproof water or water resistant ratings these wheels have SALT will not be a good thing. "Disposable" income or not...

like you, marty.... we have some coastline to enjoy here, however

I was always a bit limited by the range of my airwheel, even when it was new, but now with an MSV3 range isn't bothering me any more. :) I used to do a much shorter run than this, but now with new wheels we can expand that to a reasonably lengthy 13 km, which gives me plenty of spare battery power to account for getting lost, as can happen as you get to the streets on the outside of Portsmouth, if you have forgotten your satnav.

So here is my favourite expanded seaside run (without getting lost!) down in Southsea, near Portsmouth, UK, along the coastal path from one end of it, all the way along to Gunwharf Quays where lunch awaits in any number of seaside cafes or restaurants. Along the way there are many points to stop for a cup of tea and a lovely view, and a really nice range of terrain including some rather steep slopes to get up to the best views. We also pass 2 historic piers, a hovercraft port, a castle, an aquarium, a skate park, a fun-fair, some historic fortifications and high walkways, a massive viewing tower, and all manner of cool bridges and oversea boardwalk runs that make for very rewarding riding. Half way through the run I get to enjoy the ultra modern, ultra smooth surfaces of the walkways / cycleways around Gunwharf. My relationship with the security guards around the main shopping center is best described as 'interesting'.

The whole trip, with stops takes about 2 hours and uses about 20% of my 820wh battery pack. Perfect on Summer days and winter mornings alike, if you don't mind wrapping up against the sea breeze. Occasionally this (and the swell at high tide) can affect your riding, so you have to watch out for these adverse conditions, but otherwise it's good riding all the way...

If you're in the area definitely give it a go...
